Happy Birthday Coal!

Coal is one today! We can't believe how time has just flown by and we feel so blessed to have him as a part of our family. Many of you have asked about him as he is definitely not your 'normal' looking Siberian Husky. Most of our dogs are rescues - if you are interested in adopting a husky, go to www.huskycamp.com or www.halfmoonhusky.com or ask us for more information! However, Coal is not one of our amazing rescue dogs. He comes from racing lines - his father has run the Iditarod twice www.iditarod.com and his grandfather is a five-time Iditarod finisher. Coal (and our other dogs) absolutely live to run.  Don't get me wrong - our dogs are our family, are with us 24/7 etc. but it is just amazing to see them do what they are born to do. Information on the training we do with our dogs can be found on www.urbanmushing.com. You can also ask us for more info if you are interested! We can't thank Maggie (Bray Hill Siberians), Donna and Doug (Stone Husky Siberians) and Tara (Kazlo Siberians www.kazlosiberians.com) enough for helping us bring Coal into our lives. He is such a special boy - he is super sweet and playful but serious about life and running. He has so complimented our pack and we love him so VERY much! Just had to share. If you have special stories you would like to share, please send them our way!!!! threedogsc@cox.net We would love to post them here! Have a great day everyone and we'll see you soon at the Bakery!
